Build a Blossom

Heres a card that I sent to my crafting friend Chris.  The flower and leaves are made using Build a Blossom punch.  Scallop punch was used to make the lace edging.  Papers are beau chateau, soft suede and and pink pirouette

Gatefold Anniversary

Ive used the same papers on this card as the previous post (everyday enchantment) and the same stamp set (love & laughter)

Excuse the paper clip - this was to keep the card flat

The flower and label is made using Everything Eleanor. The leaves and frames are die cuts.

Anniversary Card

I decided to try doing something a bit different for a change. I'm quite fond of vintage style so I thought I would make this a little brighter and not quite as aged or distressed.

Another of the Wedding Cards

I tried to make the wedding cards different.  On this one I used a mulberry die cut bride and groom and a diorama card.

Tri Fold Wedding Card

This is another card from the four that I am doing for a wedding.  Paper and ink are pink pirouette, stamp set is called Love & Laughter and the white edge is made using the lace punch.  Labels are framelits dies.  I've added a few photos to show each side of the card

Stamped Wedding Diorama Card.

Here is another one of the wedding cards. I decided to use my new stamp set called Love & Laughter and Baja Breeze ink.

You can see the inside of the card better when its stood up. I hadn't yet stuck the front greeting on in the second photo below.

Its impossible to write on these cards once they are made so I have made a panel to be written on and stuck on the back of the card with double sided tape.

What do you think?

Wedding Cards

Sorry I've not posted for a while. I've been waiting for my new camera to arrive. I've been busy doing wedding and wedding anniversary cards. Here is the first one.

I have sprayed the front with a fine pearly shimmer paint but it hasn't been picked up on the photo. I did a pop up inside. Here it is.

Place Settings.

While I was making the gift boxes I started wondering about making matching place settings. I have a set of four stamps called four frames and the matching punch. I had intendned to use them on cards as toppers but I realised it would be an easy way to make place settings for any occasion. I stamped a few to see how they looked. Three are stuck flat on the base card and two are raised above the backing card. I used work window punch and a stamp from teeny tiny wishes stamp set to make the christmas themed one. The pink card is decorated using a butterfly made with the embosslits die called beautiful wings. I didn't decorate them very much as I wanted to show how nice they could look without spending ages doing them, something to consider if you are making them for a wedding or a large party.

Gift / Wedding Favour boxes.

I've been having a play making gift boxes. These are the ideal size for giving money, tickets, scratch cards, sweets, jewellery etc. In our family we like to give small gifts at Christmas and birthdays. The boxes are the right size to use for wedding favours and can be made and decorated to match any colour scheme or theme. The pink pillow box is made using a Bigz die but the other two are cut by hand. The roses are made by cutting a circle into a spiral and rolling it up. I've stamped a message on the white 'tag' on the pillow box but its not shown up very well on the photo.

If you would like to learn how to make these gift boxes let me know. I can supply colour coordinated card and ribbons etc, everything you need to make them.

Side view so you can see how deep they are.

Everyday Enchantment Paper

Here is another tri shutter card. This is done using soft suede as the card base and Everyday Enchantment paper to decorate. The paper has a nice vintage look so its ready to use. The green paper is lucky limeade, the label was made using Everything Eleanor stamp and pool party ink. The cream paper and ribbon is very vanilla. The soft sued lace was made using the scallop punch.

July Offer - a free pack of  ribbons and brads to match Everyday Enchantment paper if you spend £45. A spool of 1/8 inch lucky limeade and a spool of calypso coral ribbon. A pack of 30 brads in 5 different designs.

The paper is available to purchase, while stocks last, at £9.95. The sheets are 12 x 12 in five designs, all double sided. It was available earlier in the year in sale-a-bration but has been brought back by popular demand.

That's it for now.....got to get some work done.
